Job summary

Anterior is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a remote deployment team, delivering AI-powered healthcare platform integrations to large US enterprise customers. You will own delivery, quality, and growth while staying close to technical work to unblock and guide teams.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in engineering management, deep APIs and data-pipeline experience, and comfort working with enterprise systems.

Qualifications

8 years of engineering management experience.
This is a people management role, not a tech lead.
Experience with enterprise healthcare integrations.
Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into clean technical solutions.
Experience working with US-based customers and cross-time-zone teams.
Proficiency in Python or TypeScript.

Responsibilities

Manage and develop a team of remote deployment engineers — conducting reviews and fostering growth.
Own your team's delivery across customer deployments — scope work, set priorities, ensure timely, production-grade integrations.
Collaborate directly with US enterprise customers to understand architecture and translate requirements into specs.
Remove blockers, escalate risks early, and keep deployment timelines on track.
Coordinate with the core platform team in New York to align integration needs with platform architecture.
Build repeatable deployment processes and playbooks to speed up future rollouts.
Own hiring for your team — define needs, screen candidates, interview, and make offers.
