Premise Health is hiring a remote Director of AI Engineering to shape enterprise AI architecture, security, and cloud-native strategy across Azure, AWS, and more. You will guide teams, set standards, and drive AI initiatives in healthcare tech while ensuring HIPAA compliance and scalable, secure solutions.

The role requires 7+ years in enterprise architecture with strong AI/ML and healthcare data standards expertise, plus leadership responsibility for multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Advanced certifications in enterprise architecture preferred (TOGAF, Zachman).
• 10+ years IT experience with 7+ years in architecture/leadership roles.
• 5+ years in AI/ML architecture with LLMs, AI agents, RAG architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead enterprise AI architecture strategy; establish standards and patterns.
• Architect secure, scalable AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, and AI agents.
• Ensure information security architecture across AI systems including IAM and API security.
• Lead reference architectures and multi-team collaboration for AI platforms.
