Job summary

JustMarkets is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and scale our engineering teams building a high-performance trading platform. In this hybrid infrastructure role, you will oversee people leadership, delivery excellence, and technical direction across a cross-functional group including Product and Trading leads.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• 3+ years in an Engineering Manager role.
• Background in financial systems, trading platforms, or other high-reliability domains.
• Strong understanding of backend systems.
• Experience operating systems on different cloud systems (EC2, networking, security, monitoring).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with observability tools (metrics, logging, alerting) and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage one or multiple cross-functional engineering teams (infrastructure).
• Own delivery, quality, and technical outcomes for your teams.
• Own strategic initiatives in engineering department.
• Partner with Product, Trading, and Senior Engineering leadership to translate business requirements into technical execution.
• Drive and evolve engineering processes: planning, estimation, CI/CD, code reviews, testing, and release management.
• Guide architectural decisions for systems running on hybrid infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and observability of production systems.
• Identify and reduce technical debt, while maintaining delivery velocity.
• Hire, onboard, mentor, and grow engineers; conduct 1:1s and performance reviews.
• Foster a culture of ownership, customer first, and result-oriented.
