Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an Engineering Manager to provide hands-on technical leadership, delivering production-grade solutions on Azure using microservices and the .NET stack. The role emphasizes DevSecOps, AI-assisted engineering, and cross-team collaboration with architecture, security, and customer service groups.

The role is full-time and remote, with a salary range of $145,000–$185,000 per year on a W2 basis. Qualified applicants must be willing to work on a W2 basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field required; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years of object-oriented software development with C#, .NET Core, and React.js.
• 4+ years of supervisory experience with mentoring and team development.
• Deep Azure experience including API Apps, Logic Apps, Functions, REST services, and Cosmos DB.
• Proven design and delivery of microservices at scale.
• Hands-on AI-assisted engineering tools and practices including LLM-based tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own the team's technical roadmap and lead end-to-end architecture, development, and delivery for healthcare systems.
• Act as senior engineer by designing components, coding, debugging, and code reviews.
• Build cloud-native Azure microservices and drive engineering excellence.
• Promote AI-assisted coding and secure, maintainable code review standards.
• Lead engineering practices for AI-backed features with PHI-safe prompts and logging.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Cloud, Security, and other teams on integration strategies.
• Communicate complex designs clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
