Eliassen Group is seeking an Engineering Manager to provide hands-on technical leadership and deliver production-grade solutions on Azure using microservices and the .NET stack. The role embeds DevSecOps and compliance by default, champions AI-assisted engineering practices, and collaborates across architecture, security, application, infrastructure, and customer service teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of object-oriented software development with C#, .NET Core, and React.js.
• Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience.
• Deep Azure experience including API Apps, Logic Apps, Functions, REST services, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Proven design and delivery of microservices at scale.
• DevSecOps principles with security built into code, CI/CD, and cloud.
• Automated testing discipline and experience designing REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and practices, including LLM-based tooling.
• Agile/Scrum experience with iterative development and rapid proof-of-concept delivery.
• Leadership in a data-driven organization using reports to manage people and projects.
• Experience with HIPAA, PHI-safe engineering, and healthcare interoperability.

Responsibilities

• Own the team's technical roadmap and lead end-to-end architecture, development, and delivery for healthcare systems.
• Design components, write high-quality code, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform code reviews.
• Build cloud-native Azure solutions using microservices and the .NET stack with engineering excellence.
• Promote AI-assisted coding and secure, maintainable code review standards.
• Oversee AI-backed features including data context, evaluation, and PHI-safe logging and review points.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Cloud, Security, and other teams on integration strategies.
• Translate complex designs for non-technical stakeholders and align with priorities.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance, PHI/PII safety, and interoperability requirements.
• Implement secure design patterns, RBAC, data governance, and cloud controls.
• Apply DevSecOps across code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
• Manage direct reports including hiring, training, mentoring, and blockers.
• Lead engineers in fast-paced environments with decisive, solution-first mindset.
• Foster rapid prototyping and ownership-focused on quality.
• Complete documentation, protect privacy, and participate in training.
