Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an Engineering Manager to provide hands-on technical leadership and deliver production-grade solutions on Azure using microservices and the .NET stack. The role embeds DevSecOps and compliance by default, champions AI-assisted engineering practices, and collaborates across architecture, security, application, infrastructure, and customer service teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of OO software development with C#, .NET Core, and React.js.
• 4+ years of supervisory experience mentoring and building teams.
• Deep Azure experience with API Apps, Logic Apps, Functions, REST services.
• Proven design and delivery of microservices at scale.
• DevSecOps with security integrated in code, CI/CD, and cloud.
• REST API design and integration across multiple data sources.
• Hands-on AI-assisted engineering tools and workflow automation.
• Agile/Scrum with iterative delivery and rapid PoCs.
• Data-driven leadership using reports to guide people and projects.
• Diverse background collaboration and commitment to vulnerable seniors.

Responsibilities

• Own the team's technical roadmap and lead end-to-end architecture and delivery.
• Design components, write high-quality code, troubleshoot, and perform code reviews.
• Build cloud-native Azure solutions using microservices and .NET.
• Drive AI-assisted coding and secure, maintainable code review standards.
• Define engineering practices for AI-backed features and data governance.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Cloud, and Security teams on blueprints.
• Translate complex designs for non-technical stakeholders and align outcomes.
• Ensure HIPAA/PHI-safe engineering and cloud compliance controls.
• Apply DevSecOps across code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infra.
• Manage hiring, training, mentoring, and removing barriers to goals.
• Lead engineers in fast-paced environments with a solution-first mindset.
• Foster rapid prototyping with ownership of quality and maintainability.
• Complete documentation, protect privacy, and fulfill required trainings.
