Signifyd is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers in the modeling space, partnering with data scientists, ML engineers and product teams to bring ideas from conception to production. The role balances technical leadership with people leadership, ensuring our models and services stay reliable while driving innovation.

You will work across AI, product, and risk management groups, translating complex requirements into actionable plans, and guiding architecture decisions while

Qualifications

• 5+ years as software engineer with ML focus.
• 4+ years managing engineers directly in ML domain.
• Comfortable engaging in architecture, data flows and system design discussions.
• Experience using AI tools for research, admin and code generation with cost‑effective approach.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, big data, MLOps toolkits, SLO‑driven reliability management.
• Experience with Databricks, Spark, Airflow, Vertex or GCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of engineers, providing regular feedback and career development.
• Partner with the AI lab, product and risk management to translate ideas into production.
• Drive technical decisions, ensuring reliability and scalability of systems.
