SeatGeek in New York is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the SupportX platform team, shaping the technical vision and roadmap for our AI-powered fan support tools and integrations.

You will mentor backend, frontend, and AI engineers, review architecture, and partner with product/design to deliver high-impact experiences for millions of fans.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as an engineer focused on coding
• 2+ years as engineering manager of teams
• Track record shipping UX that elevates customer experiences
• Experience building end-to-end support software is a plus
• You’ve led lean, productive teams with inclusive environments
• You can explain complex tech to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Backend, Frontend and AI/automation engineers
• Own the technical vision for core support tools and integrations
• Build tools to boost fan experience and maintain high operational standards
• Conduct code and architecture reviews, provide feedback
• Provide performance feedback and career development to reports
• Collaborate with product and design to align roadmaps
• Make build vs buy decisions with the team
• Contribute hands-on when needed to deliver features
• Communicate decisions and unblock issues across leadership
• Help grow the engineering team through recruitment
