SeatGeek believes live events are powerful experiences that unite humans. We are seeking a Lead Technical Recruiter to own full lifecycle hiring for senior and staff engineers, data/ML specialists, product managers, and designers in New York.

You’ll define playbooks, partner with leadership, and push AI-driven sourcing while preserving human judgment. The role reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition and emphasizes market data, executive stakeholder alignment, and building scalable

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full lifecycle technical recruiting for senior and staff-level roles.
• Depth across engineering, data and ML, product, and design.
• Proven ability to build approaches when roles/markets are undefined.
• Strategic sourcing with market mapping and outbound.
• Fluency with recruiting data and tools; justify decisions with metrics.
• Executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Curiosity about AI in recruiting and applying it to workflows.
• Reputation as a teammate who mentors others.

Responsibilities

• Own complex technical and product searches from intake through close.
• Build sourcing strategies from market mapping to outbound campaigns.
• Advise on compensation and offer strategy, closing candidates in competitive markets.
• Shape role scope and interview design with senior leaders.
• Lead intake and calibration to set hiring bar and reset expectations.
• Influence headcount planning with market and organizational context.
• Use funnel, pipeline, and time-to-fill data to diagnose challenges.
• Develop AI-powered recruiting processes to improve quality and speed.
• Mentor recruiters and sourcers, sharing candidates and pipeline.
• Collaborate effectively as priorities shift and hiring pressure increases.
