Job summary

Ghost Story Games is seeking a remote Engineering Manager to lead the finalization and polish of Judas' gameplay and narrative systems from our Massachusetts base. This leadership role focuses on mentoring engineers, coordinating with design and art, and driving the technical roadmap to shipping readiness.

The ideal candidate has extensive Unreal Engine 4 experience, strong C++ skills, and a proven record shipping AAA action/FPS titles, plus experience managing internal and external teams and

Qualifications

• Extensive Unreal Engine 4 experience.
• Experience with closing down heavily dynamic and/or procedural systems.
• Experience with streaming, serialization, and procedural content systems.
• Experience managing internal and external teams.
• Strong knowledge of C++.
• Ability to quickly understand existing code and enhance/extend an existing architecture.
• Experience shipping AAA action and/or FPS games.

Responsibilities

• Lead finalization and polish of Judas gameplay and narrative systems.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate with design and art teams.
• Review milestones for external console port team and performance efforts.
• Develop and maintain technical roadmaps for Judas.
• Ensure quality and stability of core game systems.
