Job summary

CLEAResult is seeking an Engineering Director to lead the regional engineering team, including managers, engineers, and energy analysts, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and driving regional strategy.

The role requires 10+ years of engineering experience and 8+ years of leadership, with an engineering degree; PE is preferred. This remote-friendly position is primarily remote, with locations in the East Region.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• 8+ years of engineering team management.
• Engineering degree required; PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineering managers, engineers, and energy analysts with accountability for overall budget and strategic direction.
• Oversee engineering aspects of contracts and proposals.
• Develop region-wide engineering staffing plan (types and quantities of hires, reporting structure).
• Technical oversight for all work within assigned territory; including impact evaluation results.
• Provide regional VP with timely and high-quality technical execution.
• Support business development; lead complex BD work.
• Grow capabilities of the engineering team and coordinate with other engineering groups.
