CLEAResult is seeking an Engineering Director to lead the East Region, overseeing engineering managers, engineers, and energy analysts, ensuring on-time and budget-conscious delivery of client projects.

You will work with regional program managers and directors to share resources, develop tools, and strategies that overcome challenges, while guiding a growing team toward professional growth and high performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience
• 8+ years of engineering team management
• Engineering Degree required
• PE preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineering managers, engineers, and energy analysts with accountability for overall budget and strategic direction
• Oversee engineering aspects of contracts and proposals
• Develop region-wide engineering staffing plan (types and quantities of hires, reporting structure)
• Technical oversight for all work within assigned territory; including impact evaluation results
• Responsibility to regional VPs for timely and high-quality execution of technical work
• Significant responsibility for supporting business development; lead complex BD work
• Accountable for growth in capabilities of engineering team and coordination and support of other engineering teams across the company
• Proactively identify and resolve problems that impact the long-term objectives and direction of the business
• Create formal networks and serves as an internal and external spokesperson for the engineering team

Job Description

While this position is primarily remote, candidates must live in one of the posted locations to be considered.

We are looking for an Engineering Director to join our team in the East Region! You will bring residential, industrial and commercial building expertise to a range of our clients. Engineering management’s primary responsibilities will be to ensure the region achieves performance goals, develop strategies to improve our services, consistently delivers high-quality work on time and within budget, and provides professional growth opportunities for engineers. Engineering management will work closely with regional program managers and directors to provide the best services possible to our clients. Leading the engineering team and working with engineering leaders to collaboratively share resources, develop tools, and strategies to overcome common challenges.
