AESC US LLC is seeking an Energy Storage Solutions Engineer Intern to join our team in a remote capacity from Murfreesboro, TN. The role focuses on designing energy storage system solutions, preparing technical proposals, and performing market research to drive decisions across R&D and commercial teams.

The internship emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, exposure to standards like UL/IEC, and hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Python for data analysis and tool development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with a strong research background.
• Background in Renewable Energy, Materials Science, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
• Solid understanding of energy storage system architecture (PCS, battery pack, EMS, containerized systems); proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; Python is a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; cross-functional work under pressure.
• Strong learning ability and adaptability to new technologies and trends.

Responsibilities

• Design energy storage system solutions based on project requirements (system configuration, tech selection, solution development).
• Prepare and maintain technical proposals and product datasheets.
• Conduct overseas energy storage market research and competitive analysis to support decisions.
• Study and interpret international standards (UL, NFPA, IEC) for compliance.
• Collaborate with R&D, product, and supply chain to resolve technical issues.
• Support due diligence and technical reviews; assist in contracting terms.
