Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Preconstruction Project Engineer- Energy Storage to support the preconstruction team, coordinating deliverables to ensure profitability and on-time execution. You will work with the project engineering team on design deliverables and manage RFIs, submittals, and BOM review.

The role is fully remote with location details discussed during interviews. Responsibilities include coordinating with engineering, estimating, procurement, and operations, maintaining project

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Energy Storage construction or design experience or internship.
• Basic understanding of construction cost accounting.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Effective organizational and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Precon PM and engineering teams to maintain project documentation (drawings, RFIs, submittals, procurement logs).
• Support subcontractor coordination, safety planning, and general project engineering functions.
• Assist in developing and maintaining CPM schedules and construction work plans.
• Track design changes and cost/schedule impact; coordinate with teams to maintain alignment.
