Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Preconstruction Project Engineer- Energy Storage to join our nationwide team. You will support the preconstruction group, coordinate deliverables, and help ensure project profitability and schedule goals.

This role is fully remote and collaborates with the project engineering team on design deliverables, RFI management, and BOM finalization. You will work to maintain project documentation, manage cost tracking, and support transitions from preconstruction to

Qualifications

1–3 years in Energy Storage construction or design.
Experience reading plans & specifications.
Basic cost accounting, estimating, and scheduling skills.
Strong organizational and written/verbal English communication.
Drafting or CAD skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Precon PM and internal/external engineers.
Maintain project docs: drawings, RFIs, submittals, procurement logs, cost tracking, CMiC records.
Support subcontractor coordination, safety planning, and general project engineering functions.
Assist in transition from preconstruction to construction; define scope, LNTPs, and readiness.
Support schedules (CPM) and ensure alignment of engineering, procurement, and field execution.
Track design changes and cost/schedule impacts; coordinate with teams.
