Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Project Engineer to manage commissioning and delivery for energy storage projects across Europe. You will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to execute commissioning plans and drive projects to commercial operations.

The role requires experience with electrical systems in renewable energy, compliance with safety standards, and strong stakeholder management. Travel will be required to support the energy storage fleet globally.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Experience managing project and commissioning work for electrical equipment in Solar PV, BESS or other renewable energy projects.
• Experience adhering to safety regulations (CDM) in an operational setting.
• Ability to supervise site activities amongst different contractors.
• Familiar with electrical standards, regulations and legislation.
• Able to adapt to dynamic conditions and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with multiple stakeholders.
• CSCS card holder or equivalent.
• MS Office, SCADA and MODBUS experience a plus.
• Willingness to travel to support existing & new Energy Storage fleet.
• Strong communication, flexible attitude and structured work approach.
• Languages: Fluent English and Polish; any additional language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage project and commissioning works of energy storage projects in Europe with internal teams, suppliers and contractors.
• Support project execution by developing and executing commissioning plans.
• Manage and negotiate contracts with customers regarding project delivery clauses.
• Lead projects to reach commercial operations and handover to O&M teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies; supervise HS compliance for suppliers and contractors.
• Develop and execute testing protocols based on market rules and contractual obligations.
• Produce project progress reports and risk matrices.
