e-STORAGE, a proud member of the Canadian Solar family, is hiring a Sr. Commissioning Technician to lead on-site commissioning for BESS projects across the U.S.

You will travel to project sites, perform tests, safety checks, and coordinate with engineers to ensure successful commissioning of energy storage systems. The role requires 3+ years in commissioning or systems engineering within renewables, with hands-on MV and battery storage experience, and ability to oversee subcontractors while

Qualifications

• Educational background in Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of commissioning or systems engineering experience in renewables.
• Hands-on experience with battery storage systems and MV stations.
• Familiarity with NEC/UL standards and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Commission BESS sites using SolBank Storage Power Block as part of a team.
• Perform safety checks, inspections, and functional tests.
• Test network connectivity and perform point-to-point tests of field devices.
• Manage commissioning checklists and update issues list daily.
• Provide on-site diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hands-on support.
• Supervise subcontractors on-site as needed.
• Assist with testing documentation and test reports.
