Job summary

SOLV Energy seeks an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2, to manage testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair across substations and PV facilities. This remote role requires heavy travel to various jobsites and strict adherence to safety and NETA standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years as an electrician testing technician in substations/BESS yards, OSHA 30 and STS, with ability to lead others and document test results accurately.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Work towards a C-10 contractor’s license or a Certified Electrical Worker Card.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• NFPA 70e Safety Training certification or equivalent.
• Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site testing, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting as directed by management.
• Direct and supervise testing and related activities at substations or PV facilities.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and required reports.
• Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to safety standards.
• Lead technicians and provide training to junior staff.
