Job summary

Energy Drive Systems is seeking an Energy Solutions Engineer to identify and deliver industrial energy efficiency opportunities across North America. You will assess customer systems, develop technical solutions and support projects from opportunity development through handover.

This customer-facing role requires a strong engineering background, commercial awareness and the ability to build trusted relationships with industrial clients. Remote work with travel across NA is expected.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering.
5–10+ years' experience in heavy industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of medium voltage motors, VFDs, pumps, fans and rotating equipment.
Experience developing technical solutions for industrial applications.
Experience with energy modelling, system performance analysis or equipment sizing.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently within a remote environment.
Willingness to travel across North America.

Responsibilities

Investigate energy efficiency opportunities through site visits and assessments.
Evaluate electrical systems and motor applications in industrial settings.
Develop energy models and technical feasibility studies.
Design solutions with MV motors, VFDs, pumps, fans and control systems.
Support technical proposals and customer presentations.
Collaborate with commercial teams to develop opportunities and convert projects.
Ensure project delivery with engineering and maintenance teams.
Build trusted relationships with customer engineering teams.
