Job summary

Energy Drive Systems is seeking an Energy Solutions Engineer to identify and deliver energy efficiency opportunities across North America. You will assess industrial systems, develop technical solutions and support projects from early opportunity through handover, working with commercial, engineering and project teams.

The role requires a strong engineering background, client-facing skills, and the ability to travel. Remote work across North America is supported as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• 5–10+ years in heavy industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of MV motors, VFDs, pumps, fans and rotating equipment.
• Experience developing technical solutions for industrial applications.
• Experience with energy modelling, system performance analysis or equipment sizing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Willingness to travel across North America.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and deliver industrial energy efficiency opportunities across North America.
• Assess customer systems, develop technical solutions and support projects from opportunity to handover.
• Provide technical proposals and customer presentations; collaborate with commercial teams.
• Build trusted relationships with industrial clients and act as a technical advisor.
• Support projects through the lifecycle with energy modelling and performance analyses.
