Job summary

Siemens is seeking qualified candidates for an Energy Developer Solutions Internship starting May or June 2027. This fully remote, 12-week program offers practical experience in power system analysis and grid software development.

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or related field.
Prior internship with Siemens US Grid Software is preferred.
Available for a 12-week remote internship (40 hours per week).
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Enrollment must remain active during the internship period.

Responsibilities

Apply transmission/distribution power system topology changes.
Analyze power systems via steady state, short circuit, or transient stability studies.
Research load and generation interconnections and future grid challenges.
Collaborate with energy industry experts who develop grid software and services.
