Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking sharp, personable interns for a Grid–Software Solutions internship in Bellevue, WA. You will work full-time (40 hrs/wk) and contribute to Wholesale Energy Markets projects while learning from industry leaders.

Eligible candidates are pursuing a Master or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field. Relocation/housing support and a comprehensive benefits program are available.

Qualifications

• Prior intern, co-op or research experience in software, electrical engineering, power systems or relevant areas.
• Familiarity with machine learning, deep learning, GPU applications, or quantum computing.
• Background in optimization or power systems.
• Hands-on coding experience.
• Experience with artificial intelligence and conversational AI technologies for developing intelligent assistants.
• Strong commitment to a career in technology and passion/aptitude for both software and electrical engineering.
• Strong analytical and technical skills with experience in software industry standards and development tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate clearly.
• Demonstrated creative problem solving and proactive learning.
• 3.0 GPA or higher

Responsibilities

• Work on Grid – Software Solutions related to Wholesale Energy Markets.
• Collaborate with Services and Engineering teams on meaningful projects with real-world impact.
