Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking sharp, personable, highly organized interns for a full-time internship in Bellevue, WA, starting May 2027 through August 2027. You will work on the Grid - Software Solutions team, addressing Wholesale Energy Markets challenges using Java for backend development and Python for scripting, automation, or data processing.

Eligible candidates are graduate students in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science with a 3.0 GPA or higher and must be able to work in the US

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Master or PhD program at an accredited university or credentialed software accelerator program.
Degree focused on Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant STEM majors.
Must commit to working full time (40 hrs/wk) during the internship.
Must be willing to work out of an office located in Bellevue, WA.
Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Focus areas for this internship will be in Grid - Software Solutions within Services and Engineering functions.
Interns will work on solving interesting problems related to Wholesale Energy Markets.
