Placements24 is seeking an Energy Efficiency Consultant to help businesses in the Welkom area improve energy performance through audits, savings opportunities, and practical implementation support.

You will conduct comprehensive energy audits, identify opportunities for saving, and develop tailored recommendations. The role involves presenting findings to clients, tracking results, and supporting adoption of energy management strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of energy auditing, energy management, or sustainability consulting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for client-facing presentations.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed energy audits for commercial and industrial facilities, assessing energy usage.
• Develop tailored energy-saving recommendations including tech upgrades and process improvements.
• Prepare professional audit reports with cost-benefit analyses and implementation plans.
• Educate clients on energy conservation and renewable options.
• Track progress and report savings from completed projects.
