Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Energy) or Environmental Science.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in energy auditing or energy management.
• Proficiency in energy modeling software and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of building systems, industrial processes, and energy-saving technologies.
• Knowledge of relevant South African energy regulations and incentive programs.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive energy audits for industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities.
• Analyze energy consumption data, identify areas of inefficiency, and quantify savings potential.
• Develop and present detailed reports with actionable recommendations for energy conservation measures (ECMs).
• Oversee the implementation of energy efficiency projects and monitor their performance.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in energy efficiency technologies and sustainable energy practices.
• Advise clients on energy management strategies and compliance with relevant regulations.
