Job summary

New Charter is hiring a remote End User Support Technician based near Charlotte, NC, to provide responsive end-user IT support and maintain reliable workplace technology. You will monitor client networks, troubleshoot Windows workstations, and work with M365 services while collaborating with engineering teams.

You will develop automation using PowerShell and Python to streamline tasks, improve RMM alerting, and enhance operational efficiency across managed environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical support in a managed services environment.
• Experience triaging and resolving Windows workstations, printers and Microsoft 365 services.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, VPN and remote access.
• Familiarity with Cisco Meraki dashboards for monitoring and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide network support and desktop troubleshooting across client infrastructures.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts in PowerShell and Python.
• Troubleshoot end-user requests including password resets and software installations.
• Perform onsite field support occasionally, about 25% of the role.
• Collaborate with internal teams to remediate complex technical challenges.
