Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing.
• 4+ years of substantive California employment litigation experience (Associate level).
• For Of Counsel: 9+ years of relevant California employment litigation experience and first-chair capabilities.
• Experience defending employers in employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage/hour, and related claims.

Responsibilities

• Defend employers in a broad range of employment litigation matters and agency proceedings.
• Handle all aspects of litigation: strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial prep.
• Represent employers before state and federal agencies; counsel on compliance and workplace issues.
• Conduct management training on employment and labor law topics.
• Collaborate across offices to provide strategic, business-oriented counsel.
