General Motors is seeking a remote-based Employee Relations Investigations & Policy team member. You will deliver high-integrity investigations and policy support, coordinating with HR, Legal, and leadership to ensure fair, timely outcomes while upholding GM’s Speak Up culture.

The role emphasizes confidential handling, cross-functional collaboration, and strong documentation to mitigate risk and sustain a compliant workplace environment.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in Human Resources or Corporate Global Investigations, Labor Relations, Legal, or Compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related field preferred.
• Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, AWI) is a plus.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and policy violations.

• Develop investigative plans including scope, participants, and timelines.
• Communicate investigation results clearly to HR, leaders, Legal, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Labor Relations, Legal, Audit, Security, and Operations.
• Draft high-quality investigation reports synthesizing facts, policy standards, analysis, and conclusions.
• Maintain strong case management with proper documentation and confidential handling.
