Insurance Office of America seeks an Account Manager – Employee Benefits to lead client service, supervise Account Coordinators, and drive daily activities in our employee benefits practice.

You will manage new business setup, renewals, data management, and client-carrier communications while pursuing sales opportunities and upholding IOA core values, in a remote/hybrid work setting with occasional on-site needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Active professional license required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, delegation, and decision-making abilities.
• High accuracy handling large workloads.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and ensure performance requirements are met.
• Deliver outstanding client service, anticipate client needs, and respond quickly to requests.
• Lead the account team and direct daily activities of Account Coordinators.
• Identify and act on sales opportunities to grow IOA business.
• Oversee new business setup, renewals, data management, and compliance audits.
• Build and maintain client relationships and advocate for clients.
