Job summary

Client is seeking a Technical Leader - EMF Engineer to advance research and technical analysis of electric and magnetic fields in power systems in a remote role. You will evaluate emissions, validate assessment approaches, and support decision-making across energy technologies.

The role requires collaboration with utilities and research organizations, development of EMF/RF assessment tools, and clear communication of findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electric power engineering or related fields.
• Knowledge of electric transmission and distribution systems.
• Experience with engineering analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis on electric and magnetic fields related to power systems.
• Perform EMF calculations, modeling, and data analysis.
• Assess EMF and RF emissions from various energy technologies.
• Review technical literature and evaluate industry research.
• Develop and validate EMF/RF assessment tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with utilities and research organizations on technical projects.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
