Job summary

EPRI seeks a Technical Leader – EMF Engineer to advance EMF and RF research for electric power systems. You will conduct analyses, develop tools, and guide stakeholders from utilities and research institutions. The role emphasizes independent management within multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, applied electromagnetics or related field.
Minimum of five years in electric power engineering, electromagnetics, EMF or HV engineering.
Ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Ability to independently manage activities within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Conduct EMF research and analysis for transmission and distribution systems.
Perform EMF calculations, modeling, measurements, and data interpretation.
Support EMF/RF assessment tools, methodologies, and guidance documents.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and conference papers.
Collaborate with utilities, universities, labs and consultants on projects.
Communicate findings to stakeholders and support business development opportunities.
