Move is an embedded talent consultancy that places exceptional recruiters inside client teams and backs them with AI we build in-house. We work with AI-native companies, frontier labs, and teams creating technology that changes lives, with a remote-first, globally distributed setup.

The role owns full-cycle hiring for software engineering, AI/ML, infrastructure, data and product roles, collaborating with hiring managers and CTOs.

Qualifications

• Experience hiring technical talent at a high bar across software engineering, AI/ML, infrastructure or data.
• Evidence of leaning into AI to improve hiring outcomes.
• Opinions that are well formed but open to new evidence.
• Calm under ambiguity with ability to bring order to client engagements.
• Strong communication backed by logic and data with hiring managers.
• Curiosity to learn and improve over time.
• UK-based and able to travel to London for client days as needed.

Responsibilities

• Run full-cycle technical hiring for software engineering, AI/ML, infrastructure and data roles.
• Own search strategy from intake through offer and placement on client teams.
• Headhunt engineers who aren’t actively looking, while controlling approach messaging.
• Build credibility on tech stacks and architectural context with candidates.
• Coach hiring managers on calibration, interview design and feedback.
• Establish scalable hiring foundations with disciplined processes.
• Report honestly on pipeline health and progress to stakeholders.
