IF1184 GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy Americas LLC is seeking an Engineering Technical Lead for I&C Embedded Software. You will lead and mentor a portion of the team developing embedded software controls for nuclear power plants, focusing on planning, design assurance, and execution excellence.

The role balances hands-on coding with technical reviews to ensure safe, reliable plant operation. Required are a BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and 10+ years in embedded software,

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent 4-year technical degree.
Min. 10 years of embedded software development experience, including C programming.
Min. 10 years of experience with coding conventions, unit testing, and integration testing.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor part of the team responsible for embedded software controls for nuclear energy systems.
Plan work, track schedule, and manage resources across lifecycle phases.
Ensure design and code meet requirements, safety, and quality standards.
