Job summary

PTR Global seeks an Embedded AI Engineer – Construction (Project Management) to partner with our Construction PM teams and deliver AI-powered solutions that improve planning, scheduling, forecasting, coordination, and reporting across fiber deployment programs.

You will develop automations, RAG applications, agents, and copilots; collaborate with Data Engineering and AI teams; and coach stakeholders on Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT to drive adoption and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of software, analytics, automation, or AI-based solution experience.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompting, RAG, AI agents, automation workflows, or tool integrations.
• Strong Python proficiency.
• Experience taking solutions from concept to deployment and user adoption.
• Working knowledge of SQL with structured data.
• Strong communication and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and understand complex operations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Construction Project Management to understand workflows in planning, scheduling, forecasting, coordination, and execution.
• Identify opportunities where AI can improve delivery, visibility, and decision-making.
• Build and deploy AI automations, RAG apps, agents, copilots, and internal tools.
• Develop solutions for scheduling, milestone tracking, risk identification, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and AI teams on enterprise-scale initiatives.
• Coach stakeholders on AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT.
• Measure adoption, quality, and business outcomes, iterating to improve capabilities.
• Reduce admin burden via workflow automation and intelligent reporting.
• Identify repeatable solutions for scaling across functions.
• Utilize AI tools to boost personal productivity and accelerate development.
