Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework is a plus.
• Exceptional writing skills with strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Comfortable typing quickly and switching between several applications.
• Self-motivated and productive in a remote setting.
• Calm, empathetic, and patient with upset customers.

Responsibilities

• Write clear, courteous email replies that resolve customer questions on the first contact whenever possible.
• Review and sort incoming messages by urgency so time-sensitive issues are handled first.
• Search the internal knowledge base and product documentation to confirm accurate answers.
• Hand off complicated or sensitive cases to senior team members with complete context.
• Log every customer interaction and outcome in the ticketing platform.
• Apply the company's brand voice and tone in each message you send.
• Flag repeated customer pain points and share observations with the support lead.
• Meet established targets for response time, resolution rate, and quality scores.
• Suggest edits to help center articles and saved reply templates to keep them current.
• Partner with teammates over chat and video to solve cases together.
