Job summary

Road Scholar is seeking an experienced email specialist to join our Digital (Email) Communications Team, a part of Participant Services. This role focuses on empathetic, clear writing to help participants navigate program questions, select destinations, and stay informed and supported throughout their journey.

We offer a fully remote work environment with a compensation rate of $22.50 per hour. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or comparable work experience.
• 2–4 years in customer service, communications, or email support.
• Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) and email/ticketing platforms.
• Proven ability to handle high‑volume, high‑quality email communications.
• Proficient in typing 50–70 WPM with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Represent Road Scholar’s brand through email communication, ensuring participants feel informed and valued.
• Craft clear, empathetic written responses aligning with Road Scholar’s voice and brand standards.
• Provide high‑touch service to promote enrollments and resolve issues.
• Mentor new team members and contribute to team development.
• Meet monthly individual and team performance goals.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve concerns and support initiatives.
