Road Scholar is seeking an experienced Email Specialist to join our Digital (Email) Communications Team within the Participant Services Center. You will craft thoughtful, brand-aligned responses and manage a high-volume inbox with empathy and precision.

You’ll use CRM tools like Salesforce to document interactions, mentor teammates, and help drive enrollments while delivering exceptional participant support in a remote, nonprofit travel environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or comparable work experience.
• 2–4 years’ experience in customer service, communications, or email support; call center, travel services, nonprofit, or education environment is a plus.
• 2–4 years’ proven ability to handle high-volume, high-quality email communications; experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and email/ticketing platforms.
• Proven experience resolving customer issues through written communication, with tone, empathy, and brand voice.
• Ability to type 50–70 words per minute with high accuracy.
• Manages multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines in time-sensitive demands.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with ability to access and manage large amounts of information.
• Comfortable working independently and in a team-based environment.
