Job summary

Gong is hiring an Email Marketing Manager to lead email programs across the lifecycle, blending brand nurture with sales-style outreach that drives MQL conversion. You will craft engaging copy, manage 1:1 outreach, and apply data-driven insights to optimize campaigns while maintaining voice and relevance across channels.

You will collaborate with Demand Gen, Content, Product Marketing, and Field Marketing to reflect current GTM priorities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in email marketing or lifecycle marketing in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
• Hands-on experience writing and optimizing email programs inside Marketo and sales engagement platforms like Gong Engage, Outreach, or Salesloft.
• Proficiency in AI to write, test and improve email effectiveness.
• Hands-on experience executing A/B and multivariate tests with analytical rigor.
• Understanding of email deliverability fundamentals including engagement-based reputation, list hygiene, suppression strategy, CAN-SPAM and GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute email programs across the full lifecycle, from brand nurture to 1:1 outreach.
• Write, edit, and optimize email copy for nurture flows, lifecycle programs, and high‑intent sequences.
• Support automated MQL follow up and signal-led motions with Ops and Sales leadership.
• Contribute to and maintain a library of email frameworks, subject lines, and reusable components.
• Execute a structured testing program and track KPIs to optimize programs.
• Collaborate with GTM teams to translate audience strategy into messaging for moments and stages.
• Manage email engagement quality and deliverability from a content perspective.
