Job summary

Blavity Inc. is seeking a temporary Email Marketing Coordinator to own the newsletter production schedule across four brands (Blavity, AfroTech, Travel Noire, HealthStack).

This role focuses on high-volume execution and strict adherence to documented processes. The ideal candidate has hands-on Iterable experience, can build 6-8 newsletters per day, and will contribute to KPI reporting while coordinating with editorial, creative, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Iterable for campaign builds, lists, and templates.
• Experience managing high-volume email production across multiple properties.
• Demonstrated QA discipline with a multi-step checklist under time pressure.
• Ability to read campaign analytics: open rates, CTR, engagement.
• Strong process discipline and adherence to documented workflows.
• Clear, proactive communication and escalation when blockers occur.
• Skill with AI tools and platform-native resources to resolve issues.
• Proficiency in Claude, Google Suite, and Asana.

Responsibilities

• Own 6-8 newsletter sends per day across four brands per the send calendar.
• Run RSS-automated and manual builds with prep work before each send.
• Apply editorial judgment using content performance data for curation.
• Communicate status with editorial, creative and engineering teams; escalate when needed.
• Administer Pre-Send QA covering copy, links, assets, suppression, and eligibility.
• Maintain full send schedule and notify when schedules shift.
• Support KPI reporting and audience health across properties.
• Navigate Iterable features: campaigns, audiences, analytics, templates.
