Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Project Manager / Business Analyst / Project Lead for ELN/LIMS implementations in Life Sciences. You will lead end-to-end projects, gather requirements, ensure traceability, and coordinate with stakeholders across IT, QA, and operations.

This remote role is open to qualified applicants in the United States; some travel to client locations may be required. Requires 8+ years of experience, GxP knowledge, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 8+ years delivering Life Sciences or regulated technology projects.
• Experience leading ELN and/or LIMS implementations.
• Proven requirements gathering and functional specification development.
• Strong knowledge of GxP, GLP, cGMP, GAMP 5, CSV, and 21 CFR Part 11.
• Experience with UAT, validation activities, and documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ELN/LIMS implementation projects from planning to post-implementation support.
• Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and system requirements with stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into user stories, specs, and roadmaps with traceability.
• Support configuration, integrations, data migration, and adoption activities.
• Oversee validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ, UAT, defect management, change control, and compliance documentation.
