Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Project Manager / Business Analyst / Project Lead to drive ELN/LIMS implementations in Life Sciences. You will lead projects from planning to post-implementation, aligning requirements with compliant, validated informatics solutions.

You will collaborate with lab operations, IT, QA, and vendors, managing validation, data migration, and change control in regulated settings. Remote US roles with occasional travel likely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years delivering Life Sciences, laboratory informatics, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated industry technology projects.
• Experience leading ELN and/or LIMS implementation projects in laboratory environments.
• Hands-on requirements gathering, functional specs, process maps, and stakeholder management.
• Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, data management, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ELN/LIMS implementation projects from planning through post-implementation support.
• Partner with stakeholders, IT, and vendors to gather, analyze, and manage requirements.
• Translate requirements into user stories, specs, and roadmaps with full traceability.
• Support configuration, integrations, data migration, and adoption activities.
• Oversee validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ, UAT, defect management, and change control.
