Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Project Manager / Business Analyst / Project Lead for ELN/LIMS implementations in Life Sciences. You will lead end-to-end projects, gathering requirements, documenting specifications, and aligning stakeholders to deliver compliant, scalable laboratory informatics solutions within regulated environments.

This remote role is open to qualified applicants in the United States; occasional travel to client locations may be required for workshops, testing, and deployment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 8+ years delivering Life Sciences, laboratory informatics, pharma, biotech, or regulated industry projects.
• Experience leading ELN and/or LIMS implementations in laboratory environments.
• Hands-on experience gathering requirements, creating functional specs, process maps, and stakeholder management.
• Strong knowledge of GxP, GLP, cGMP, GAMP 5, CSV, and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ELN/LIMS implementation projects from planning to post-implementation support.
• Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and system requirements with stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into user stories, specs, and process maps with traceability.
• Support configuration, integrations, data migration, and adoption activities.
• Oversee validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ, UAT, defect management, and change control.
