Brown and Caldwell in the Central Area seeks a Wastewater Area Practice Leader to shape strategy for Colorado, Utah and Texas. You will guide growth, hire and focus research and innovation to deliver high-quality wastewater solutions.

This senior role emphasizes client success, practice leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration, with remote-work options and relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Typically 15+ years in increasing responsibility roles including leadership.
• Experience in environmental consulting, engineering, construction and operations.
• Experience with annual business planning, strategy development, workforce planning and revenue forecasting.
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams with coaching and accountability.
• PE license in Colorado, Utah and/or Texas.

Responsibilities

• Align performance with Area Leaders, at least quarterly.
• Lead strategic growth plan with measurable outcomes.
• Communicate strategy to Client Service Teams with market intelligence.
• Win new work as Sales Leader or Technical Seller.
• Provide technical leadership of the project portfolio and pursuits.
• Build and lead a high-performing team with clear expectations.
• Plan staffing, revenue, and resource allocation across the portfolio.
• Engage leadership to align trends with client needs.
• Coordinate with SMEs to integrate capabilities across client organizations.
