Job summary
SMTC Corporation is seeking a SIOP Director to lead the integrated Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning process across our global electronics manufacturing operations. You will oversee demand planning, supply balancing, and forecast accuracy to optimize capacity, inventory, and service levels.
Collaborate with Commercial, Program Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Operations to translate demand into actionable material and production plans, while managing risks and opportunities in
Qualifications
- MBA or related degree preferred and relevant certifications are a plus.
- 10+ years in supply chain/operations planning, with 5+ years in a SIOP leadership role.
- Experience in EMS/contract manufacturing or complex multi-customer/high-mix electronics environments preferred.
- Deep understanding of electronic components, BOM-driven planning, and lead times.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and lead a formal monthly SIOP process across locations.
- Develop rolling forecasts and align demand with supply, capacity, and inventory.
- Lead a cross-functional SIOP council across sites and drive execution of plans.
- Translate demand plans into material, production, and capacity requirements with Procurement and Operations.
- Present planning gaps and risks to executive leadership with recommended actions.
