Hidden Jobs is seeking a senior engineering professional to join a distributed Constellation Modeling and Analysis team focused on a space-based intelligence platform. You will model, simulate, and optimize satellite constellation performance across launch planning, revisit, and mission design scenarios.

The role requires 5+ years of technical experience, expertise in Python or C++, and strong communication skills. Remote-friendly with US-based guidelines and a path to advanced analysis work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, physics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant technical experience.
• Familiarity with spacecraft systems, orbit constellations, or modeling and simulation.
• Independent work style with ability to manage multiple efforts in parallel.
• Programming in Python and/or C++.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand internal tools for constellation orbit design and launch planning.
• Support constellation design trade studies and provide orbital mechanics input.
• Build analysis scenarios that quantify operational impact against mission requirements.
• Improve modeling and automation tooling to produce performance metrics.
• Document and present analysis results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to internal analysis products and team training.
