Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Construction & Development is seeking a Scheduler Level 1 to provide project scheduling support for construction durations, phasing plans, and delay mitigation. You will assist a Senior Scheduler and use Primavera P6 to analyze schedule issues and generate progress updates.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and at least 5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field.
• Must have a minimum of five years of related experience.
• PMI-SP desirable.

Responsabilités

• Assists a Senior Scheduler by providing project-level scheduling support to the project team.
• Develop project construction duration; prepare project phasing plans and participate in project risk assessment and constructability reviews.
• Study, review, analyze and present schedule-related project specific issues for resolution.
• Manage scheduling and planning functions using Primavera P6 software.
• Participate in the monthly job progress meetings and project schedule updates; resolve discrepancies and mitigate delays.
• Evaluate and analyze extensions of time, change orders and claims.
• Determine impacts and prepare suitable schedule frag nets, chronology of events, charts and reports; work with project teams to take corrective actions.
