Job summary

Inova Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Virtual Acute Care. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week with a rotating schedule and weekend shifts every six weeks. After six months, you may work one remote day per week, contingent on policy and performance. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are eligible.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN or ADN; must complete BSN within 5 years of hire
• 1 year of RN experience in critical care, or completion of a critical care fellowship
• BLS from American Heart Association; ACLS within 6 months; PALS within 6 months for pediatric units; VA RN licensure or eligibility

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient health assessments and interpret data trends
• Formulate and adjust plans of care based on assessments
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams for patient/family transitions
• Document all clinical activities per standards and support team documentation
• Evaluate outcomes and participate in performance improvement initiatives
• May take on additional duties as assigned
