Job summary

Empower is seeking a Core Market Relationship Manager to strengthen its relationships with plan sponsors, advisors, and third-party administrators in the corporate market. This role focuses on prescriptive solutions to meet retention, growth, and retirement readiness goals for clients with plan assets between $10M and $35M.

You will collaborate with sponsors and advisors on plan design and education, travel for local or regional meetings, and work with senior staff on complex issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years financial services or other relevant experience.
• 2+ years building strategic relationships.
• Life Insurance license required.
• FINRA fingerprinting required.
• Foundational understanding of ERISA concepts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with plan sponsors and advisors on plan design, investments, retirement readiness, affiliated product solutions, and new opportunities.
• Deliver plan level reviews including employee education planning.
• Partner with local sales team to deepen advisor relationships, develop new business, and grow existing business.
• Travel expected for local or regional onsite advisor and client meetings.
• Works with senior staff when dealing with complex issues, clients, accounts, projects, analyses, or internal relationships.
