Job summary

Foth is seeking a collaborative Project Manager to join our Solid Waste team. This role involves leading projects from conception through closeout, coordinating with clients and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high‑value solutions.

The ideal candidate has a Civil or Environmental Engineering background with 10+ years in solid waste consulting and at least 5 years of project management experience, plus PMP certification. Flexible work arrangements may be available across Florida and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or closely related field.
• 10+ years of consulting experience in solid waste projects.
• At least 5 years of project management experience.
• Experience on solid waste projects for public clients.
• Experience in regulatory negotiations and issue resolution.
• PMP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Permitting, design and construction for solid waste facilities including landfills, transfer stations, and material recovery facilities.
• Environmental compliance, investigation and data management / analysis.
• Feasibility studies, technical evaluation, and operational enhancements for solid waste facilities.
• Solid waste management planning, sustainability, waste minimization, and beneficial reuse.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle from scope development to closeout.
• Ensure projects meet client scope, budget, and schedule; manage risks and challenges.
