The Department of Population Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow. This role analyzes lifecourse health data from the Project Viva cohort under the supervision of Drs. Emily Oken and Izzuddin Aris.

The fellow will be employed by the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute and appointed as a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School. Responsibilities include data analysis, manuscript preparation, and collaboration on research

Qualifications

• PhD (or MD) in Epidemiology, Nutrition, Environmental Health, or related field is preferred.
• Proficiency with large datasets and quantitative analysis.
• Experience with SAS, STATA or R is desirable.
• First author publication is a plus.
• Interest in Developmental Origins of Health and Disease or women’s health is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Analyze large, complex data from multiple sources (surveys, environmental exposures, dietary data, study visits).
• Present results to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Prepare articles for peer-reviewed journals and reports.
• Collaborate in team meetings to shape ongoing research.
• Develop new research ideas or proposals and contribute to grant writing.
